Form-M1CR is a supplemental form that allows Minnesota residents that work in another state to avoid dual taxation, being taxed by Minnesota (the state of residency) and the other state (where income was earned), on income that was earned in another state. Form-M1CR must be filed with Form M1. This form avoid dual taxation by issuing a Minnesota credit for taxes paid to other states.
