Indiana Form IN-EIC 2017
Indiana's Earned Income Credit
Form IN-EIC may be used by taxpayers who have already claimed an EIC on their federal tax return and if their tax return on Form IT-40, line 1 is less than $43,100. You are not eligible if: • You did not claim an EIC on the federal tax return. • You did not file Worksheet A or Worksheet B that are included in instruction booklets IT-40 or IT-40PNR. • Your income amount on Form IT-40, line 1 is equal to or more than $43,100. Please keep in mind that you will need the IT-40 or IT-40PNR instruction booklet in order to file Indiana Form IN-EIC.

Indiana Individual Resident Income Tax Return (Long)
Form IT-40 is the most complex income tax return form for Indiana residents. If you’re a resident you may qualify for the shorter version IT-40EZ. If you had Indiana income but are not a full-year resident, you have to file either Form IT-40RNR or IT-40PNR.
Indiana Individual Part-Year and Full-Year Nonresident Individual Income Tax Return
Indiana Form IT-40PNR is a tax document designed for part-year and full-year nonresidents who have an income source in the state of Indiana. When filling out the form, you are required to state your income and deductions in Indiana to determine whether or not you owe money to the state for the fiscal year. The state of Indiana requires that you attach your federal tax return and any other necessary paperwork to this document when sending it in.
Indiana Individual Reciprocal Non-resident Income Tax Return
Form IT-40 RNR is the form that all non-residents of Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin should file if they are required to file an Indiana tax return. This form allows residents of these states to declare all the income they earned in Indiana to Indiana. Due to reciprocal agreements Indiana does not tax income earned by residents in these states. However it is required that this income is reported to Indiana. Also by filing IT-40 RNR you avoid any dual taxation that this income would otherwise face by Indiana and the state of your residence.

Indiana Amended Individual Income Tax Return
Indiana Form IT-40X is a tax return document for residents who need to amend their previous return. Also known as the amended individual tax return form, it is used to correct any errors in income, reimbursements or tax credits on a number of other Indiana IT-40 tax documents. When filling out your IT-40X form, you will be given the chance to explain why you are making an amendment in your tax return.

Indiana Application for Extension of Time to File
The IT-9 form is used for Indiana residents who seek an extension of the filing deadline for their state income tax returns. Successfully filing the IT-9 automatically allows Indiana residents a six month extension to file their IT-40 or 40PNR state income tax returns.

Indiana Schedule 6 2017
Indiana Offset Credits
Schedule 6 may be used by taxpayers to report any offset credits. To complete the Indiana Schedule 6, taxpayers may need additional forms including Form IT-40, federal Schedule R, and Schedule CC-40. When mailing Schedule 6, taxpayers will need to attach Schedule CC-40 and federal Schedule R.
Indiana Schedule A 2017
Indiana Income/Loss, Proration & Adjustments to Income
Indiana Schedule A may be used to file an income, or loss or adjustments to an income that was reported on the federal income tax return.
Indiana County Tax Schedule
Schedule CT-40 may be used only by full-year Indiana residents. To complete Indiana Schedule CT-40 you will have to first complete Indiana Form IT-40. Please keep in mind that the Indiana County Tax Rates have changed and that you should use the updated tax rates included in Schedule CT-40.
Indiana Individual Underpayment of Estimated Tax
Schedule IT-2210 may be used by individuals to determine the penalty they owe for not paying enough income tax for the taxable year or to demonstrate that they have paid enough income tax so that they are not subject to any additional penalties. To file the Indiana Schedule IT-2210, taxpayers may need additional forms including IT-40PNR, IT-40, IT-40P and documentation like payments done on the taxable year. Please keep in mind that you must attach a copy of Schedule IT-2210 to your income tax return in case you meet an exception and are exempt from paying any penalties on your estimated tax.
Indiana Annualized Schedule of Underpayment of Estimated Tax
Schedule IT-2210A may be used by most taxpayers to file any income taxes that were withheld from their employers. Indiana Schedule IT-2210A is used to: • Figure out any penalties that you might have. • Demonstrate that you paid enough estimated tax (in case you earned seasonal income). You must always keep a copy of Schedule IT-2210A, as the Department may ask for it at a later date.
Indiana Exemptions and Other Taxes Schedules
Schedules 3 & 4 may be used by taxpayers to itemize tax exemptions or any additional taxes that they paid. To be able to complete Indiana Schedules 3 & 4, you will need additional forms including your federal tax return, Form IT-40, Schedule IN-H or Schedule IN-529R.

Indiana Form IT-40EZ 2015
Indiana Individual Resident Income Tax Return (Short)
Form IT-40EZ is the shorter version of IT-40. IT-40EZ allows Indiana residents to file Indiana tax returns if they meet certain requirements. These requirements are that the resident has no dependents, earned only Indiana income, and had no withholding credits. If the resident does not meet these requirements they are required to file with IT-40.
