Illinois Individual Penalty Computation Form

Form IL-2210 may be used by taxpayers, who want to determine whether or not they might owe any penalties, if they:

  • Did not make their estimated payments on time.
  • Paid taxes that they owed on time.
  • They filed a processable return by extended due date.
If a taxpayer already knows that he or she owes penalties, they should not complete Illinois Form IL-2210. The taxpayer will receive the bill at his or her specified address.

Illinois Recapture of Investment Tax Credits Form

Illinois Employees Statement of Nonresidence

Form IL-W-5-NR has nothing to do with IL-1040. It actually has nothing to do with you Illinois tax return. This form simply tells your employer not to withhold any Illinois income tax from your compensation. This is required if you are a non-resident of Illinois who works in Illinois and are a resident of Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, or Wisconsin. Illinois has certain reciprocal agreements with these states that declare that you do not need to pay taxes to the state you work in but rather to the state you are a resident of. Make sure to file Form IL-W-5-NR as your home state will not award you a tax credit if you pay taxes to Illinois for income earned in it. This means this income will avoid dual taxation unless you file Form IL-W-5-NR.
